This is a line from "Confessions of a Crap Artist" by Philip K. Dick.
"And by riding the horse I prolong his life, since, not being ridden, he was getting overly fat, which put an unnatural strain on his heart."
It stuck out at me for some reason... suddenly I noticed a possible hidden message:
"And by riding the HORSE I prolong his life, since, not being ridden, he was getting OVERLY FAT, which put an unnatural strain on his heart."
HORSE OVERLY FAT => HORSE LOVER FAT
True PKD fans will recognize Horse Lover fat immediately.
